Write the Worlds Longest Love Poem
In honour of St. Valentine’s Day - the only day a woman can propose to a man according to 5th century Irish folklore - Mio Destino is sponsoring an attempt to create ‘The World’s Longest Online Love Poem’.
According to the Guinness Book of Records, the current record is held by a romantic Frenchman, Monsieur Patrick Huet, who in August 2006 wrote a 7,547 verse poem. In order to break Monsieur Huet’s record, we need your help! Are you a romantic and a closet poet? This is your opportunity to share your verse, have it published and be part of a great online community effort.
To contribute to the ‘World’s Longest Online Love Poem’ simply write in the space provided. Our system requires that all submissions are approved and will censor any inappropriate, non-poetic or offensive material. Write away and write often you may become a Guinness book record holder with your fellow poets!
